Lab – Computing Systems

Mission
The COMPSYS Lab addresses research activities in computing systems. The main focus ranges from custom and reconfigurable computing systems to distributed and mobile systems, including embedded and cyber-physical systems. The Lab research encompasses software systems architecture, design and evaluation, software notations and tools, e.g., domain-specific languages and compilers, as well as non-functional properties such as fault-tolerance and timeliness (real-time systems). The mission of the COMPSYS Lab is to conduct applied and fundamental cutting-edge research, with the goals of advancing the state-of-the-art, contributing to the education and training of human resources, cooperating with industry, and helping in the solution of problems with societal impact.
