The Board, which replaces the previous Board, is composed of the President and eight Directors, establishing a pioneering governance model among the Associated Laboratories in the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In a statement to INESC TEC employees, President Jos\u00e9 Manuel Mendon\u00e7a states that \u201cthis change in the governance model of INESC TEC is related to the will to introduce a necessary generational renewal in our management bodies, combined with an essential period of &#8216; passage of testimony &#8216;\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">INESC TEC&#8217;s Board of Directors is made up of Jos\u00e9 Manuel Mendon\u00e7a (President), M\u00e1rio Jorge Leit\u00e3o, Jo\u00e3o Pe\u00e7as Lopes, Vladimiro Miranda, Lu\u00eds Carneiro, Gabriel David, Jo\u00e3o Claro, Bernardo Almada Lobo and Rui Oliveira (Administrators).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">An Executive Committee was chaired by Jos\u00e9 Manuel Mendon\u00e7a, whose Executive Directors are M\u00e1rio Jorge Leit\u00e3o and Lu\u00eds Carneiro.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">At the General Council meeting on the 8th of June, changes were still decided in the Scientific Council, with the entry of new members: Lia Patr\u00edcio, Jo\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 Pinto Ferreira and Jo\u00e3o Barroso as new members. Manuel Matos maintains the position of President.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The table of the General Council also undergoes modifications. Ros\u00e1rio Gamb\u00f4a, President of IPP, becomes First Secretary. The President of the General Council, Sebasti\u00e3o Feyo de Azevedo (Rector of U.Porto), and the Second Secretary, Ant\u00f3nio Ferreira (FEUP), hold the same positions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">These changes in the Associative Bodies do not modify INESC TEC&#8217;s mission to serve as an interface between the academic world and the business world of industry and services, as well as the public administration.
