Tutorials are designed as <strong>educational and hands-on sessions<\/strong>, offering structured learning experiences for both newcomers and experienced researchers and practitioners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They play an essential role in disseminating knowledge, promoting best practices, and supporting capacity building within the smart cities community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Submission Guidelines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tutorial proposals should be submitted in <strong>PDF format<\/strong> and include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Scope and goals<\/strong> (max. 200 words), outlining the tutorial\u2019s significance and learning objectives<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>List of topics\/syllabus modules <\/strong>(up to 12)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Short bios<\/strong> of the lecturers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Expected format<\/strong> (lectures, hands-on sessions, tools, software, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Logistical requirements<\/strong> (e.g. whether participants need to bring laptops)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Expected duration<\/strong> (full day, half day, half morning, or half afternoon)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Submissions will be handled electronically through EDAS.
