** FEUP, 2nd July, room B032 <\/a>and online<\/a> **<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the preparation of the 3rd edition of the M.Sc. on Data Science and Engineering<\/a> (https:\/\/dei.fe.up.pt\/mdse\/) well under way, it is time to look back at what was accomplished so far and also to project the future. This will be done as part of the 2022 MDSE Sunset Session<\/strong>, on the 2nd July (Saturday)<\/strong>, in room B032<\/strong>, in a relaxed environment but focused on a very important topic: Ethics and Responsability in AI<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The program will feature two keynote talks, by Ana Costa e Silva<\/a> (Mercer)<\/strong> and Pedro Saleiro<\/a> (Feedzai)<\/strong>, as well as a panel discussion including In\u00eas de Matos Pinto<\/a> (S&D Group @ European Parliament)<\/strong>, In\u00eas Sousa<\/a> (Fraunhofer Portugal)<\/strong> and Peter van der Putten<\/a> (Pegasystems & U. Leiden)<\/strong>, moderated by Eug\u00e9nio Oliveira<\/a> (FEUP)<\/strong>. During the event MDSE students will also present some of their projects.<\/p>\n

The event is targeted both to companies<\/strong>, looking for talent in Data Science, as well as prospect students<\/strong>, looking for an advanced education on Data Science.<\/p>\n
