“ Looking back, I believe FEUP was the right choice for me. In my last year, I had the opportunity to apply for an internship at Microsoft’s software development center in Denmark. At that time I was studying at TU Delft in Erasmus. The quality of FEUP was instrumental in the beginning of my professional success. The challenging and relevant studies plan, dedicated teachers and the international experience acquired during the course prepared me to get the most out of the stage and quickly come to a full time position. “When the time came to go to college, FEUP was my first choice because of its prestige and recognition by national and international companies. The working environment at FEUP is excellent and the quality of education is very high, with a strong link to the business community. In MIEIC we have a course called LGP (Project Management Laboratory), where we work with renowned companies. FEUP also offers many extracurricular activities such as painting, theater and cultural and sports activities. There are also several groups of students in different areas, such as the IEEE, to which I belonged. This group allowed me to develop soft-skills, become involved in extracurricular projects and participate in international conferences that allowed me to expand my network of contacts.”
