The program is organized in two semesters for the Courses Activity plus four to six semesters for the Research Component. Part-time attending is permitted.
Courses Activity:
60 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System)
Research Component:
120 ECTS
ECTS Equivalences:
In a case by case basis, depending on the candidate’s curriculum, equivalences to ECTS may be provided. However, a minimum of 30 ECTS needs to be completed.
Final Registration:
Once the approval to the Courses Activity is obtained, the definite registration must be performed. Acceptation depends on the Doctorate Working Plan.
Supervision:
The supervisor is one FEUP Professor and one co-supervisor is admitted. A steering committee is appointed for caring for the research work developed by the student.
