The ARMIS.LAB@FEUP emerges from the partnership established between ARMIS Group and the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), in particular the Department of Computer Engineering, for the creation of a Research and Development laboratory that enhances the digitalization and innovation in a collaborative way between the academic and corporate world.
This partnership aims to encourage the co-creation and development of research projects between ARMIS and its associated companies and FEUP, focusing on the areas of intelligent mobility, security, fintech, sports, energy, and Natural Language Processing (NLP). The goal is research in Computer Engineering, specifically directed to the exploitation of Artificial Intelligence in each of these areas.
All projects developed within the scope of this laboratory will be materialized in master’s and doctoral theses with transformation potential.
