Call for Papers

The IEEE International Smart Cities Conference (ISC2) welcomes high-quality submissions presenting cutting-edge research, innovative methodologies, and practical case studies that contribute to the advancement of smart cities and sustainable communities. The conference aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and knowledge exchange among researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and industry professionals addressing the technological, social, and environmental challenges of modern urban systems.

The technical programme is organised around multi- and cross-disciplinary tracks that reflect the diverse dimensions of smart cities. The conference programme will encompass the following main tracks:

  • Smart Water
  • Smart Grid

  • Sustainable Cities and Communities
  • Smart Healthcare and Wellbeing
  • Smart Mobility
  • Data Spaces in the Smart City Ecosystem
  • Smart Food and Agriculture
  • Smart City Services and Infrastructure

Authors are encouraged to submit original and unpublished work that demonstrates theoretical advances, applied research, real-world deployments, or lessons learned from operational systems. Contributions that bridge disciplines and promote holistic, inclusive, and sustainable smart city solutions are particularly welcome.
