IEEE ISC2 2026

Call for Workshop Proposals

IEEE ISC2 2026 invites proposals for Workshops, to be held on the first day of the conference. Workshops provide an interactive and collaborative forum for discussing emerging topics, ongoing research projects, and forward-looking ideas in smart cities.

They are particularly suited for presenting early-stage results, exploring “blue-sky” concepts, and fostering dialogue through panels, invited talks, and group discussions. Workshops contribute to community building and stimulate new collaborations across academia, industry, and public sector stakeholders.

Submission Guidelines

Workshop proposals should be submitted in PDF format and include:

  • Scope and goals (max. 200 words), describing the workshop’s relevance and objectives
  • List of topics of interest (up to 12)
  • Short bios of the workshop organisers
  • Expected format (e.g. paper presentations, invited talks, panels, round tables)
  • List of expected contributed papers (if available)
  • List of expected invited speakers (if applicable)

Note: If workshop papers are intended for inclusion in the conference proceedings, they will be subject to the same peer-review standards as regular conference papers.

Submissions will be handled electronically through EDAS. Further information will be available soon.
