Call for Workshop Papers
IEEE ISC2 is the flagship conference series of the IEEE Smart Cities Technical Community. Workshops are an important part of the technical programme, as they provide an appropriate environment to discuss emerging trends, blue-sky ideas, and new directions in areas related to smart cities. They promote active discussion and participation, encouraging debate on trends, future developments, and promising research paths. Therefore, workshop papers do not necessarily need to report final consolidated results; they may also present work in progress, perspectives, visions of new trends, research opportunities, and new problem dimensions, provided that the topic has the potential to stimulate fruitful discussions during the workshop sessions.

Manuscript Submission
Authors are invited to submit workshop papers to the IEEE ISC2 2026 workshops. Manuscripts should be prepared according to the instructions available on the conference Submission page.
Workshop papers should be submitted through the EDAS platform.
To be included in the conference proceedings, workshop papers must undergo a review process to ensure quality, significance, and alignment with the scope of the selected workshop. The review process is single-blind; therefore, authors’ names, affiliations, and contact details must be included in the submitted manuscript.
The recommended length for workshop papers is between 4 and 5 pages, using the IEEE two-column conference format. One extra page beyond the 5-page limit is allowed, but it will incur an extra-page fee.
Authors should select the appropriate workshop when submitting their manuscript and ensure that their contribution is aligned with the scope and objectives of that workshop.
