Artificial Intelligence
The Artificial Intelligence Laboratory intends to contribute to research on specific aspects of Intelligent Systems, benefiting from approaches built on Distributed and Decentralized Coordination and Cooperation, applying these approaches to different real domains. This lab also conducts research on AI-based methods for knowledge extraction and inference, particularly in text mining. It also investigates techniques for dealing with hardware and software failures or intentional changes in the context of the environment of a complex system, such as resilient and reactive schedulers that can survive errors at the node or cluster level.
